THE LOCAL GET IT DONE IN MARLO!
Marlo produced some amazing fishing for a large majority of the field with some truly huge fish hitting the scales. With the rain approaching it was uncertain what that would do to the fishing on Sunday. For Team Marlo Bait & Tackles Harry Young and Brad Young they stuck to their plan of fishing an area almost impossible to get to and it paid dividends with the boys weighing in 10/10 Bream weighing in 10.855kg and taking the victory
In 2nd Place was Team Samurai Rods Dan Mackrell and Declan Betts who weighed in 10/10 bream for 10.050kg and in 3rd Place was Team Millerods Paul Malov and Alex Franchuk who weighed in 10/10 for 9.440kg.
The Sunline Best Bag went to Team Humminbirds Shaun Clancy and Jarrod Healey who weighed a monster Marlo bag of 5/5 bream for 5.905kg which helped them charge 17 postions up the leader board to finish in 4th of Day 2.
The Ecogear Big Bream went to Team Spin'n A line Lex Forbes and Dean Morely who weighed in a thumping old black bream weighing 1.810kg
The Zip Baits Monster Movers Prize went to Team Just Winging It Chris Allwood and Jack Allwood who weighed in a quality bag on Day 2 of 5/5 bream weighing 5.185kg moving them 20 places up the leader board to finish in 22nd position.
The Shimano Junior Angler Prize went to Team Hurricanes Riley Whelan from who finished in 9th place.
A huge thanks to all the anglers that fished the event and made it an awesome spectacle for the Marlo crowd. Thanks to the Team at the Marlo Hotel for hosting the venue and looking after all the anglers with amazing hospitality and accommodation and to Ros and Colin from the Marlo Caravan Park and for also housing the Vic Bream team and a large majority of the field this weekend.
