2024 NS Rods Sunline Bream Classic Grand Final
Final Results
The Glenelg River produced some tough fishing for some but for those in the right spot the quality of fish were excellent. For Team 2 Old Legends Peter Howell and Mike Newman they managed to put together 2 fantastic bags and took out the win with 10/10 bream for 9.255KG. In 2nd Place was Team Lowrance Millerods Paul Malov and Alex Franchuk who weighed in 10/10 bream for 7.885kg and in 3rd place was Team Samurai Rods Dan Mackrell and Declan Betts. with 10/10 bream weighing 7.840kg.
The Sunline Best Bag went to Team 2 Old Legends Peter Howell and Mike Newman with a cracking Day 2 bag of 5/5 bream for 4.825kg
The Ecogear Big Bream went to Team 2 Old Legends Peter Howell and Mike Newman who weighed in a quality bream weighing 1.140kg
The Zip Baits Monster Movers Prize went to Team Crackers Sean Pearson, Will and Ben Roberson. who weighed in a quality bag on Day 2 of 5/5 bream bag weighing 4.035kg moving them 12 places up the leader board to finish in 12th position.
The Shimano Junior Angler Prize went to Hayley Emerson who finished in 36th place .
Jarvis Kent from Apollo Bay Fishing Charters was also crowned the 2024 Shimano Junior Angler of the year.
The Millerogue Prize went to Team Don The Sash who caught a Mulloway measuring 70cm. An honorable mention for the heaviest perch goes to Team Lowrance Millerods who weighed in a cracking perch that weighed in 1.645kg and almost hit the magical 50cm mark.
We also crowned the 2024 Club Marine Team of The Year which went to Team Samurai Rods Dan Mackrell and Declan Betts who had another amazing year with results of 1st, 4th, 5th, 8th and 4th.
All eyes now turn to the 2025 NS Rods Sunline Bream Classic which will be the 20th year of the series. The dates for 2025 have been announced so stay tuned for the Series Launch in mid Jan 2025.
