2024 TT Glenelg Shire Bream Classic


Final Results

With the mouth of the Glenelg River only opening one week ago the system has fished consistently from all three launch locations in the tournament giving anglers options right through out the system to catch good fish. For Team The Old Codgers Barry Thomas and Stuart McKinnon they had a rollercoaster of a weekend with great fishing but with a major boat breakdown potentially ending their weekend. However they regrouped and managed to put together 2 quality days of fishing and took out the win with 10/10 bream for 9.570kg. In 2nd Place was Team Repetes Peter Bakaj Snr and Peter Bakaj Jnr who weighed in 10/10 bream for 9.510kg and in 3rd place was Team Crackers Sean Pearson and Will and Ben  Roberson with 10/10 bream weighing 8.070kg

The Sunline Best Bag went to Team Repetes Peter Bakaj Snr and Peter Bakaj Jnr with a quality bag for the Glenelg River of 5/5 bream for 5.065kg

The Ecogear Big Bream went to Team Richardson Marine Tackle Shacks Corey McLaren and Adam Brown who weighed in a cracking bream weighing 1.30kg

The Zip Baits Monster Movers Prize went to Team Fishin.com.au Stuart Carruthers and Shane Handley who weighed in a quality bag on Day 2 of 5/5 bream bag weighing 4.275kg moving them 14 places up the leader board to finish in 10th position.

The Shimano Junior Angler Prize went to brothers Will and Ben Roberson from Team Crackers who finished in 3rd place .

The Millerogue Big Mulloway Prize went to team Reel Steels Gary Carruthers and Greg Rooke who caught a Mulloway that measured  60cm
