Metung turned it on again with the best 50 teams of 2022 braving the crazy weather and taking to the water for the 2022 NS Rods Sunline Bream Classic Grand Final. . For Team Samurai Rods Dan Mackrell and Declan Betts they managed to put together 2 great days of fishing and took out the championship with 10/10 bream for 13.23kg. In 2nd place was Team Cranka's Steve Wheeler and Mattew Kearton with 10/10 bream weighing 12.55kg and in 3rd place Team Chemically Sharp's Damien McGlynn and Adam Arbuthnot with 10/10 Bream weighing 12.49kg
The Sunline Best Bag went to Team Samurai Rods Dan Mackrell and Declan Betts with a cracking bag of 5/5 bream for 6.82kg
The JML Anglers Alliance Big Bream also went to Team Eco-Gear JML Wayne Hamilton and Andy Moore who weighed in a thumping bream weighing 1.83kg
The Hurricane Monster Movers Prize went to Team Purple5ive Captures Steve Morris and Marek Losinski who weighed in a cracking bag on Day 2 of 5/5 bream bag weighing 6.36kg moving then 17 places up the leader board to finish in 18th position.
The Shimano Junior Angler Prize went to Michael Vukic who finished as the highest placed junior in 28th place.
